Lánchíd 19 design hotel will turn red on February 6, 2010.
Lánchíd 19 design hotel in Budapest joined Go Red For Women movement initiated by the World Heart Federation and the American Heart Association. The aim of the movement is to call people’s attention to the fact that one in three women dies of heart disease – that’s almost one woman every minute. Lánchíd 19 design hotel will turn its interactive façade red on February 6 from 16.00 pm to celebrate Go Red For Women Day.
Go Red For Women is the World Heart’s Federation and the American Heart Association’s solution to save women’s lives. Too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 killer. Today the movement Go Red For Women is widely spread, its symbol became the nice red dress. On Friday, February 6, 2009, cities across the country went Red by illuminating buildings, monuments and popular sites in red to raise awareness of women and heart disease.
In Hungary, the Hungarian National Heart Foundation and the Hungarian Cardiologists Association started the movement this year. They are supported by famous Hungarian fashion designers, models and VIPs of the Hungarian public life.
